New Cards and Gameplay Tricks
One of the biggest additions to the game is the introduction of new cards. The season pass features Agamotto, a powerful card that shuffles four Ancient Arcana spells into your hand at the start of the game[2][4]. These spells are part of a new card type called Skills, which work differently from regular cards because they don’t stay on the battlefield. Plus, the new keyword Banish is introduced, allowing certain cards to be removed from the game permanently[2]!
Other cool cards include Eson, Starbrand, Firehair, and Khonshu, each with their own unique abilities and powers[2][4]. For example, Khonshu has a phase 2 ability that brings back a discarded card to another location with a set power[4]!
New Places to Play
The Prehistoric Avengers season also introduces two new locations: Star Brand Crater and Celestial Burial Ground. The Star Brand Crater gives you +1 Energy each turn if you have 10 or more power in that location, while the Celestial Burial Ground involves discarding a card for both players and replacing it with another of the same cost[4]!
Plus, the High Voltage game mode is back, giving you a chance to unlock new cards, like The First Ghost Rider, for free until March 28, 2025[4]!
New Albums and Spotlight Caches
New albums are being added to the game, like Negative Space and Enver. These albums offer exclusive rewards like avatars, emotes, and tokens[4]! The Spotlight Cache rotations have also been confirmed, featuring cards like Eson, Beta Ray Bill, and Star Brand, along with their variants[4]!
